This is such a valuable observation. Each job I've held, I've remained at longer than I should have for the people. Ultimately, I've realized that people are wonderful, but the work *must* be somehow intrinsically satisfying for me to justify remaining in the position. As a people person (and truthfully, a people pleaser), this is something I expect to grapple with for the rest of my life. Thank you for noting it so succinctly!
